ASUS GeForce 9800 GTX review

Prey is another old game (id Tech 4 engine) that we like to include and as you can see the performance margins are much smaller in this title. Here the GeForce 9800 GTX was actually slightly slower than the 8800 GTX at 1920x1200 and 1680x1050.

The GeForce 8800 GTX extended its lead over the 9800 GTX even further with 4xAA/16xAF enabled.
All graphics cards tested did deliver highly playable frame rates in this game, but it is interesting to find that the 9800 GTX offers no performance benefits in older gaming titles.
